Do I need certification or testing before applying as an interpreter? 

It is heavily recommended to have certifications or any sort of language assesment testing prepared prior to applying for a smooth transition. If you do not have any testing, we may be able to test your language fluency prior to an interview. We also do have trainings for anyone interested in becoming a professional interpreter, however do not have any specific language oriented courses that help individuals improve their language fluency.
