What is Sight Translation and how is the prep service handled?

A: Sight translation is orally rendering a written text in another language in real time. For the preparation service, interpreters receive the document in advance and are paid hourly (1 hour covers up to 4 pages, then 15‑minute increments per extra page). The same interpreter performs the subsequent appointment.
