Training and Professional Development Opportunities
New Session:Advanced Court Interpreter Training
Our next online instructor-led session of the Advanced Court Interpreter Training (ACIT) program will begin on May 9 and will run for a month (10 classes) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
As many of you might already know, the ACIT program is designed to help you advance your court interpreting skills and expand your legal vocabulary base. It serves as proof of specialized training in legal or court interpretation and is a great preparation tool for the components frequently featured in court interpreter accreditation exams.
As more and more customers are requesting service via video calls or conference calls, interpreters are required to get themselves acquainted with tools and features of remote interpretation. If you need help on using video platforms like Zoom or Teams, we have some resources for you. Click here to access.
